You move quietly, pause often and learn how animals use cover, water and wind to stay hidden in plain sight. Our guides’ knowledge and experience extend to pointing out various plants that are used for their medicinal value. Bush walks are open to young adults 16 years and older. As we walk through the bush and uneven terrain, we suggest that guests who would like to participate have a basic level of fitness. You follow fresh spoor, compare tracks and watch the story unfold step by step, from feeding signs to patrol paths. Your guide explains the terrain “veld” as you go, so you understand the grasses, soils and plants that shape each habitat.
